Welcome! Were you recently diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome? Was your child? Are you feeling lost? You’ve already taken a step in the right direction by visiting our site. We’ve all been there. We want to listen and share our experiences. We’ll help you make sense of the alphabet soup – ASD, PDD-NOS, IEP, 504, SSI – that awaits you.

The Orange County Asperger's Support Group is a nonprofit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We’ve been helping Asperger’s families and individuals since 2003. Whether you’re the parent of a 5-year-old or you're an adult with Asperger’s, we have programs for everyone.

Come to one of our monthly support groups, held in Newport Beach and Yorba Linda, to meet others with similar challenges. Our speakers and panel discussions have themes ranging from school IEPs to Aspies-on-the-Job. Use our online Yahoo Group Discussion Board to ask questions and get answers from people who have dealt with the same issues.

Our social activities are designed to provide the much-needed opportunity to meet other Aspies and make friends. Kids and teens enjoy bowling, laser tag, Anime, movies, horseback riding and more. Adult activities (ages 18+) include movie nights, an anime club, coffee groups and more. We also have a special group for parents of college-age Aspie young adults. And we sponsor professionally-moderated events such as support groups on Dating & Relationships for adults. Occasional events for all ages are also planned, such as when 50 of us cheered together at an Angels Baseball game. All of our meetings and activities are listed on our online Meetup site where you can also RSVP!

With our great resources, activities and events, we help inform, educate and support families affected by Asperger’s and ultimately help improve the quality of life of all our members.
