The Orange County Asperger's Support Group (OCASG) is a nonprofit, tax exempt, charitable organization under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). We support the Orange County Asperger’s community in the following ways:
* Monthly support meetings to share information regarding resources: on the 3rd Monday in Newport Beach and 4th Monday in North Orange County, from 7pm to 9pm. The Newport Beach meetings feature informational speakers and panel discussions on subjects of concern to our community.
* An official Toastmaster Gavel Club offering a supportive, friendly environment for improving public speaking and communication skills. The Gavel Club meets from 10 am to 11 am on the second Saturday of the month in Irvine.
* Three Saturday Workshop Series with Dr. Alex Gantman - Parent Support Group, Adult Support Group, and Special Topics. These workshop meet from 10 am to Noon on the last Saturday of the month in Newport Beach.
* Monthly social activities based on age and common interests such as such as movies, discussion groups and more.

OCASG provides hope and support for people with Asperger’s, High-Functioning Autism and PDD-NOS and their families through meetings, online communities, social events, skills training, education and advocacy. We are committed to improving communication, understanding and acceptance between the Asperger’s and neurologically-typical populations, and to ultimately improving the quality of life for all.
